Heather Hill lives in Scotland and is one of a rare kind; the rare kind being one of the 0.5% of females that is ever-so-slightly colour blind. She is known to have been prevented from leaving the house with blue eyebrows on at least one occasion.
After messing around on Twitter for a while, publishing some of her random thoughts, Heather found herself voted one of 50 funniest women to follow on Twitter by the Huffington Post UK. She was then invited to write material for several comedians in the Aberdeen, Glasgow & Edinburgh live comedy circuit. When one of her clients won a regional comedy award using some of her lines, she thought it was time to get serious - in a funny way. After writing some sitcom pilots and short plays, she then embarked on a novel writing career. Her hilarious, debut British comedy ebook, The New Mrs D, was an Amazon No1 bestseller before the paperback was published by Fledgling Press, Edinburgh in Spring 2015. She has since gone on to write two further comedy novels, I Hate That You Bloody Left Me and The Advice Bucket - all set in her beloved home country, Scotland.
She has written for publications including Psychologies Magazine and was included as one of Scotland's 200 most remarkable voices in The Scotsman for their 2017 centenary, which published several of her articles.
Where is she now? Working on her latest novel, Dancing With Mandy, while still tweaking her play, A Novel Woman and dreaming of the day she'll make a proper start on one of her many feature film ideas.
